Global Apps and It Solutions is a franchisee of Eazi Business UK - a UK based company that has been in the Mobile Application industry for over 5 years . The company, through its Eazi Apps platform, designs, builds and supports mobile applications for customers at affordable prices.

Global Apps and It Solutions is looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Developer to join its IT team! As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating and downloading WordPress themes and plugins. There is also a Mobile App CMS that is similar to WordPress which you will need to be trained on and eventually use in developing mobile applications.

You are expected to have a strong understanding of latest industry trends and content management systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality
  • Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
  • Developing basic artwork and graphics for use in wordpress and mobile app cms
  • Troubleshooting and repair of WordPress issues and day to day IT issues that may arise in office.
  • Interacting with Clients to understand their needs and offer solutions based on wordpress and mobile app capability
  • Understanding all Features clients may need on Mobile App and WordPress platforms .
  • Ability to learn and use any other CMS system if and when needed to develop websites and mobile Apps.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
  • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
  • Knowledge of how to interact with APIs and formats
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
